Bill overview
This bill aims to strengthen existing benefits for descendants of veterans exposed to herbicide agents. Specifically, it expands healthcare and vocational training support for children born with spina bifida or other birth defects resulting from that exposure, as well as for descendants of women veterans with similar birth defects. The bill also establishes procedures for care coordination and ensures these benefits are administered effectively and don’t duplicate other existing assistance programs.
