The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019 expands healthcare and compensation benefits for veterans who served in Vietnam and its surrounding waters, as well as those who served in Korea and Thailand. It clarifies presumptions of exposure to herbicides for veterans of these conflicts, extending eligibility for benefits to children of veterans exposed to herbicides in Thailand. The bill also includes a report on herbicide use in Thailand and updates a study on Gulf War Illness.
