Bill overview
This bill establishes a pilot program to help combat technology-related abuse in domestic violence cases. The program, run by the Office on Violence Against Women, will award grants to eligible consortia – partnerships between higher education institutions, community organizations, and domestic violence centers – to provide support and resources to victims. It also creates a separate grant program to fund education and training initiatives focused on preventing and addressing technological abuse.
