Bill overview
This bill directs the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to study the cybersecurity risks facing K-12 schools and develop recommendations to help them protect student and employee information. It will also create an online training toolkit for school officials and make the study’s findings and guidelines publicly available on the Department of Homeland Security website. The use of these recommendations is voluntary.
