Bill overview
The Community Mental Wellness and Resilience Act of 2022 aims to improve mental health and well-being at the community level by establishing a grant program. This program will fund consortia of diverse organizations – including schools, businesses, and community groups – to create and implement community-based mental wellness programs that use a public health approach. These programs will focus on identifying and addressing factors that contribute to mental wellness and resilience, and promoting age- and culturally-appropriate services for all community members.
