This bill expands the boundaries of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta National Heritage Area in California. Specifically, it incorporates an area known as the Rio Vista/Expansion Area, as defined by a map dated February 2021. The purpose of this expansion is to protect and promote the natural and cultural resources of this important Delta region. This adjustment is made under the authority of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act.
