Bill overview
The Two-State Solution Act aims to bolster U.S. policy supporting a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine, resolving territorial disputes. It prohibits U.S. support for Israeli actions that could annex territory in the West Bank or Gaza, restricts U.S. assistance to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) under certain conditions, and mandates the marking of goods produced in the occupied Palestinian territories. The bill also seeks to foster connections between Israelis and Palestinians through educational and youth programs and directs agencies to prioritize human rights and democracy in aid programs. Finally, it addresses restrictions on U.S. security assistance and foreign assistance to Israel.
