Bill overview
This bill expands the boundaries of the Maurice D. Hinchey Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area to include all of Saratoga and Washington Counties in New York State. The Heritage Area, established in 1996, is designed to preserve and promote the cultural and natural resources of the Hudson River Valley. By adding these two counties, the bill aims to broaden the area’s focus and protect additional historical and scenic locations. This expansion will allow for increased funding and support for heritage-related projects within the expanded region.
