Bill overview
This bill, the Government Integrity is Not for Trade or Sale Act, aims to prevent corruption and protect the reputation of the federal government by establishing stricter rules for accepting gifts and donations. It requires any federal entity receiving a gift or donation that comes with naming rights to include specific conditions in the agreement. These conditions allow the entity to revoke those naming rights without owing a refund if a criminal act or ethical violation is discovered related to the donor or someone connected to the naming rights, provided a reasonable amount of time has passed.
