Bill overview
The Earn Your Keep Act aims to restore pre-pandemic telework policies within all Executive agencies of the federal government. If employees don't comply with these reinstated policies, they face removal from their civil service positions, and those positions will be eliminated. The bill also directs the Government Accountability Office to study the locality pay and geographic locations of federal employees who worked remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
