Bill overview
This bill creates an Office of Supply Chain Policy within the Executive Office of the President, led by a Supply Chain Czar, to coordinate a national response to ongoing supply chain issues. It allows states to use unspent COVID-19 relief funds to address disruptions and shortages by investing in areas like trucking, infrastructure, and workforce development. The Department of Commerce will also conduct a study and report to Congress on the causes and challenges within the U.S. supply chain.
