Bill overview
This bill changes the way the Board of Zoning Adjustment in Washington, D.C. is structured. It allows the District’s mayor to appoint all members of the board, except when the board is dealing with applications from foreign embassies or consulates. The bill also clarifies the roles of certain federal officials when the board is handling such applications. The changes are intended to give the District more control over its zoning regulations.
