Bill overview
This bill, the Access to White House Visitor Logs Act, would require the President to create and maintain a public database of visitor logs at the White House and the Vice President’s residence. The database would include the names of visitors, the individuals they met with, and the purpose of their visits. The President can exclude records that would violate privacy, national security, or pertain to purely personal guests, but will include the number of visitors and post sensitive records when no longer needed.
