Bill overview
This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to produce a report detailing the considerations for easing or reopening the U.S.-Canada border for both essential and non-essential travel. The report will include communications between DHS and other federal agencies, as well as the Canadian government, and will examine various factors such as a potential family travel exemption and policies for property owners. The report is contingent on the border not already fully reopened before its due date.
