Bill overview
The FAIR Leave Act aims to expand access to family and medical leave for married couples working for the same employer. Currently, there’s a limit on the total number of weeks of leave a spouse can take during a 12-month period. This bill removes that 12-week limit, allowing spouses greater flexibility in managing family and medical needs. It modifies the Family and Medical Leave Act to achieve this change.
