Bill overview
This bill changes how bargain-price options for purchasing federal buildings through leases are handled. Currently, these options can be exercised at any time. This legislation limits the exercise of these options to only those specifically authorized by future Congressional appropriations or other laws. It applies to lease agreements signed on or after January 1, 2021.
