This bill establishes a working group within the Department of Transportation and the Department of Energy to advise the federal government on the development, adoption, and integration of electric vehicles. The group will create a resource guide for consumers, state and local governments, and businesses, and produce reports outlining challenges and opportunities for expanding electric vehicle use. The group will also coordinate with existing federal efforts and provide recommendations for policy and strategy to promote electric vehicle adoption nationwide.
