Bill overview
This bill directs the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to conduct a comprehensive study on the online sale of fentanyl and methamphetamine. The study will examine how these drugs are sold online, including the methods used by sellers, the financial transactions involved, and the efforts of federal and other government agencies to combat this activity. The GAO will also analyze data from the past decade to identify areas for improvement and gaps in current strategies. Finally, the report will be submitted to Congress within a year of the bill’s enactment.
