Overview
The Small Business Workforce Pipeline Act of 2023 aims to help small businesses develop a skilled workforce by expanding the services offered by Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs). Specifically, the bill requires SBDCs to provide information and assistance to small businesses on establishing and improving work-based learning opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and pre-apprenticeship programs. This will help small businesses access resources and training to meet their workforce needs. The bill also updates existing provisions related to succession planning and intellectual property protections.
