This bill, the La Paz County Solar Energy and Job Creation Act, directs the Secretary of the Interior to transfer approximately 3,400 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in Arizona to La Paz County. The land transfer will be for fair market value, subject to existing rights and certain restrictions to protect cultural and environmental resources. It also includes provisions for coordinating with Tribal Historic Preservation Offices and withdrawing the land from mining and mineral leasing.
