Bill overview
This bill directs the Small Business Administration (SBA) to better support for-profit child care providers. Specifically, it requires the SBA Administrator to designate a point of contact for these providers and to submit a report to Congress detailing the challenges faced by these businesses, the SBA’s current support, and recommendations for improvement. The report will assess the needs of for-profit child care providers and identify any gaps in resources. The bill does not authorize any new funding.
