Bill overview
This bill requires the State Department to regularly report on the curriculum used in schools in Palestinian-controlled areas, including textbooks and other instructional materials. The reports will assess whether the curriculum promotes violence or intolerance, evaluate the Palestinian Authority’s efforts to reform it, and determine if U.S. foreign assistance is used to disseminate these materials. The goal is to ensure that Palestinian education aligns with international standards of peace and tolerance.
