Bill overview
This bill establishes a program within the Forest Service to address environmental damage caused by illegal cannabis cultivation on National Forest lands. It directs the Forest Service to remediate contaminated sites, pay state fees for waste disposal, and enter into agreements with other entities to assist in cleanup efforts. Furthermore, the bill amends the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act to increase criminal penalties for the illegal application of pesticides on government property, specifically targeting improper pesticide use during federal offenses.
