Bill overview
This bill requires federal agencies to report to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) when they revoke, suspend, replace, amend, or otherwise make a rule ineffective. The GAO will then maintain a database of these changes to regulations. This aims to improve transparency and accountability in how federal regulations are updated and modified. The reporting requirement will expire after six years.
