This bill amends the law governing the Veterans Community Care Program to allow veterans to receive eyeglass lens fitting services as part of their healthcare benefits. Currently, these fittings weren't included in the list of authorized medical services. The bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to create guidelines for how this new service will be provided and to report back to Congress on its implementation and effectiveness.
