The Veterans Supporting Prosthetics Opportunities and Recreational Therapy Act (Veterans SPORT Act) aims to improve access to adaptive equipment for veterans. Specifically, it expands the types of medical services the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides to eligible veterans to include adaptive prostheses and terminal devices designed for sports and recreational activities. This legislation modifies existing VA policy to better support veterans’ participation in these activities after service.
