Bill overview
This bill aims to eliminate cost-sharing requirements for remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) services under Medicare. It modifies Medicare regulations to ensure that RPM services are fully covered at 100% of the provider's charge, without deductibles or coinsurance. The bill also directs the Department of Health and Human Services to conduct a study to assess the impact of this change on patient health and potential cost savings. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2024.
