Bill overview
The BRAIN Act aims to accelerate research and improve care for brain tumors. It seeks to increase transparency in biospecimen collections, establish a Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network, launch a public awareness campaign about clinical trials and biomarker testing, and support pilot programs for monitoring and caring for brain tumor survivors. Finally, it directs the FDA to issue guidance to ensure brain tumor patients have access to clinical trials.
