Bill overview
This bill creates the Northern Border Coordination Center within the Department of Homeland Security. The Center’s primary goal is to improve communication and collaboration between federal, state, tribal, local, and international partners along the northern border of the United States. It will focus on coordinating operations, sharing information, providing training, and supporting the Northern Border Strategy. The Center will be located near existing Border Patrol, Coast Guard, and Air and Marine Operations facilities.
