Bill overview
This bill directs the Department of Health and Human Services to study contraceptive access at community health centers in areas designated as ‘health care deserts.’ The study will examine barriers to providing a full range of contraceptive methods, such as reimbursement issues and provider training, and identify which centers receive Title X funding. The goal is to understand and report on the challenges faced by these centers in meeting the needs of women eligible for federal health care programs.
