Bill overview
The Dental Care for Veterans Act aims to expand access to dental care for all enrolled veterans within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system. Currently, eligibility for dental services is limited. This bill would require the VA to provide dental care in the same manner as other medical services, phasing in full eligibility over four years based on veteran status and needs. It also makes changes to the existing regulations governing dental benefits and related sections of the law.
