Overview

This bill aims to improve access to a specific type of exercise therapy for veterans with Parkinson’s disease or similar movement disorders. It directs the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to offer boxing-based exercise classes to eligible veterans who want to use this therapy as part of their treatment plan. The VA would either provide the classes at a VA facility or reimburse veterans for classes offered elsewhere. The changes will take effect 180 days after the bill becomes law.
