Bill overview
This bill officially designates the Finger Lakes region of New York as a component of the National Heritage Area System. This system recognizes areas with significant natural, cultural, and historic resources. The bill establishes the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance as the local organization responsible for managing the area and requires them to submit a management plan to the National Park Service within three years.
