Bill overview
The Anti-Drugs Act aims to bolster border security and combat drug trafficking by establishing and funding the Operation Stonegarden program. This program will provide grants to law enforcement agencies in states bordering Canada or Mexico, or those with maritime borders, to enhance their border security efforts. The bill also reauthorizes the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Program and the Community Oriented Policing Services program, providing continued federal support for these initiatives through 2028.
