Bill overview
The CREATE Graduates Act aims to increase postsecondary degree attainment by providing grants to states. These grants will support institutions and systems in higher education to locate and award associate degrees to students who have accumulated sufficient credits but didn't receive a degree, and to provide outreach to students close to earning an associate degree. The bill also encourages partnerships between 2-year and 4-year institutions to streamline transfer pathways for students.
