Bill overview
The End Child Trafficking Now Act aims to prevent the entry of adult non-U.S. nationals into the United States with a minor. To ensure a genuine familial relationship, the bill requires adults seeking to travel with a minor to either present documented proof of kinship or submit to a DNA test. If the relationship cannot be established through documentation or witness testimony, Homeland Security can request a DNA test, and refusal to consent will result in inadmissibility. Furthermore, the bill criminalizes the act of knowingly using a minor who is not a relative or guardian to enter the country, adding a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
