Bill overview
The SAVE Girls Act aims to combat the smuggling and trafficking of children and young women (ages 12-24) in the United States. It does this by establishing a federal grant program that will provide funding to states, tribal governments, local governments, and non-profit organizations. The grants will focus on both preventing children from being smuggled across borders and supporting those who have already been victims of trafficking or are at risk.
