Bill overview
This resolution commends the leadership of South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japan's Prime Minister Kishida Fumio in repairing relations between their countries. The resolution also (1) welcomes greater strategic coordination among the United States, Japan, and South Korea as a stabilizing influence in the Western Pacific region and the global order; and (2) recognizes the critical importance of the U.S. treaty alliances with South Korea and Japan to U.S. interests and the peace and security of the Western Pacific.
