Bill overview
This resolution directs the House Administration Committee to increase the purchase of goods and services from AbilityOne, a program that employs people who are blind or have significant disabilities. Specifically, it requires the House to update procurement guidelines, prioritize AbilityOne products in the House Supply Store, and provide new Member orientation on the program. It also establishes a dedicated AbilityOne Representative within the Chief Administrative Officer’s office to oversee procurement efforts and track progress.
