Bill overview
This resolution requires every member of the House of Representatives to participate in at least one shift riding along with a local law enforcement officer in their congressional district during their term in office. The Committee on House Administration will create rules to implement this requirement. If a member fails to complete a ride-along by the deadline, their name will be publicly listed on the Committee on Ethics website and noted in the Congressional Record.
