This resolution prohibits Senators charged with crimes of unlawful disclosure of classified information, acting as a foreign agent, or compromising U.S. national security from receiving classified information. Specifically, such Senators may notreceive any classified information, including information provided to their personal office, to a congressional committee, or through a briefing of Senators;serve on congressional committees;submit a congressionally directed spending request for legislation; orobligate official funds for international travel.
