Overview
This bill creates an online portal, called the ‘digital democracy online portal,’ where the public can submit legislative proposals to the New Jersey legislature. The Office of Legislative Services will maintain this portal and provide information about pending bills, legislative history, and committee schedules. The portal will also allow the public to track the status of their submitted proposals, and legislators can request drafts of proposals from the portal.
