Overview
This bill prohibits many actions while driving that could be considered distracted driving. Specifically, it restricts the use of wireless telephones and electronic communication devices, except when using hands-free technology or in emergency situations. The bill also prohibits drivers from viewing, recording, or livestreaming videos or participating in video calls, with exceptions for reporting emergencies or unsafe driving behavior.
