Overview
This bill directs the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD) to identify and post on its website employment opportunities that are accessible to individuals returning to the workforce after imprisonment. These opportunities should have minimal barriers to entry. The bill also requires reentry programs and organizations receiving state funds to report on their employment partnerships and data to the DOLWD on a quarterly basis to support these efforts.
