Overview
This bill raises the threshold for state agencies to make purchases, contracts, or agreements without advertising. Currently, agencies can bypass the bidding process for projects under $25,000. This bill increases that threshold to $150,000, allowing smaller construction and repair projects to be handled more efficiently. The adjustment to this threshold will be made periodically based on the Consumer Price Index.
