Overview
This bill prohibits hotels with 50 or more rooms from providing guests with personal care products in single-use plastic containers. Initially, the restriction will apply to sleeping rooms, bathrooms, and guest services, but hotels can provide products upon request outside of these areas. Violations will result in warnings and potential civil penalties. The bill also prevents municipalities from enacting similar regulations after its passage.
