Overview
This bill establishes a system for youth mental health care professionals to be present in New Jersey family court. These professionals, who would be state employees, would provide support and guidance to judges regarding cases involving children under 18. They would assist in identifying mental health needs, recommending appropriate interventions, and connecting youth and their families with necessary services.
