Overview
This bill requires Hudson County to return money the state previously gave them for improvements to the Hudson County Correctional and Rehabilitation Center. The state provided $28.1 million over three fiscal years (2023-2025) from the Property Tax Relief Fund. In return, the bill authorizes the state to provide Hudson County with an additional $28.1 million in general operating aid, subject to the amount of money returned by the county.
