Overview
This bill aims to provide compensation to parents whose court-ordered parenting time is disrupted due to investigations into unsubstantiated allegations of child abuse, neglect, or other issues. If a parent applies, a court can order additional parenting time to make up for the lost time. This additional time must be of the same type and duration as the originally denied time and should be scheduled within two years of the denial. The bill also clarifies that it does not create liability for investigative agencies or government entities.
