Overview
This bill allows immediate family members of people with dementia to receive special parking placards. These placards would permit them to park in certain areas, including residential streets, municipal lots, and spaces typically reserved for people with disabilities, while providing health or personal care to the person with dementia. The placards are valid for two years and require an application fee and renewal fee. There are penalties for misuse of the placards.
